With summer supposedly here in the UK and too much excitement happening in the UK, a climb in the Alps was needed to get away from it all. Speaking to my old friend Jack, we booked a week’s trip to Chamonix to do a few climbs in Italy, France and Switzerland, the Weissmies being the main attraction of the trip.
Spending the night in the hut at 2800m we set off at 4:30am for the additional 1217m climb to the summit of the Weissmies. Four and a half hours later we finally reached the top. Coincidently a bottle of Res Fortes Rose was in my rucksack – so why not celebrate in style? (Don’t worry, we didn’t drink instead went for a photoshoot of the Rose.)
As we had achieved our first ever 4000 metre climb in the Alps, as well as the first ever bottle of Res Fortes Rose reaching 4017 metres,I'd like to celebrate by putting on a special offer. For 10 days only, £9.95 a bottle of rose saving you £3 a bottle.
To claim the discount, please select the Rose wine online at www.resfortes.com. This offer is available until the 15th July 2016.
All the best
